Etching

Etching is a process that involves applying a protective mask to the material and then using a corrosive solution to remove unwanted areas. Developed through the application of precision photography and photo-etching techniques, it is ideal for producing components that are extremely small, lightweight, thin, or complex in shape—specifications that are impossible to achieve with press punching.

Types of etching

  • SSE (Super Single Etching) : Capable of deep engraving of 0.05 mm or more; provides good aesthetic quality for depths up to 0.3 mm.
  • DE (Double Etching) : Using two types of resist ink enables etching at three different depths.
  • SSE CUT (Blanking) : It is possible for materials with a thickness of up to 0.3 mm.

Since no press dies are required, costs can be reduced for small-lot production. We achieve a sharp, three-dimensional effect by employing a double-etching process that goes deeper than that of other companies.

Double Etching+Anodizing

Double etching and decorative anodizing (a two-step anodizing process) enable a finish that is both sharp and premium in appearance.

Samples

Examples of high-definition screen-printed products include automotive components such as door waist moldings, door grips, and engine covers. Typically, printing on sheet material followed by press forming results in a degradation of print quality; however, by combining our printing expertise with advanced mold and press technologies, we have made it possible to mass-produce parts without compromising print quality.
